I need to ask a question to everyone out there that has graduated....

How long after finals (college, I mean, Seth studied English in Brown, to be more exact) is the graduation ceremony? I mean, if you finish in the Spring semester, around mid June, when would the graudation be??

Okay, remember how Seth was such a great character in S1, and remember how he became an ass in season two and following? Does anyone remember a specific thing that made you think, "what an ass", because, dude, really. I remember the whole idea of not liking Seth, but don't remember WHY EXACTLY. Damn it.

I need to ask a very weird question. Or not so weird.

So, Seth's has studied English. And he's about to graduate. What does he need to do after that? I mean, will he need a graduate thesis? Or go for a Masters? Will it have to be Brown or can it be... I don't know, The University of Oklahoma? Does it matter much? I need someone to explain all that to me, coz I sure as hell don't.

Picture this: Ryan in a small town about 45 minutes from OK City and Seth wanting nothing more than to be with him, the sooner the better, and Ryan wanting Seth to do whatever it is he has to do for his future, even if it means Seth not being with him. Yeah. That.

So, help?

So, I got Photoshop CS3 yesterday and now turns out I can't install it. I googled the stupid problem and apparently Adobe has conflicts with its own programs. Isn't that stupid or what? I've read that uninstalling everything that has to do with Adobe will help but right now I'm mostly pissed off at it.

Anyone with me?

PS: I'm in the middle of QaF 5x11 and ohmygod I loved 5x10. I was screaming my head off, just a little bit, but enough. *g* Now I can finally read some of the stories that have been recced to me. *winks*

When Kirsten got pregnant, I was a bit surprised. I tried to do the math, and... imagining Kirsten got pregnant right after she got married (23), which she did right after she finished college (22), at the earliest, she could have have been 24 when Seth was born, right? So Seth's 19+24=43 when she got pregnant, 44 when Sophie was born?

Isn't she a bit old to be having another child? Okay, not that old, but still. And if she had Sophie at 43, she could have easily had another child (cough,twins,cough) at 46, right?

The almost stupid question I asked about Ryan carrying Sophie on his lap was because, over here, the whole carseat/boosterseat is almost like a suggestion. *shrugs* It's so stupid, because car accidents are horrible over here, but people don't seem to take notice, or even care. Weird, really.

So, I'm probably taking a eight seat car, like a Cadilla Escalade (popmusicjunkie's suggestion), Sandy driving and Kirsten in the passenger seat, the twins (15 moths old) in their carseats in the second row, and Ryan and Sophie (three years old) in her booster seat.

And on a final note, if it's a Range Rover, if if it were hit by a, say, Ford Expedition, sideways, hitting mainly the front seats, could it kill the driver and passenger? And the twins be almost unscathed because of the carseats and Ryan with a broken leg and clavicle and Sophie with cuts because Ryan was protecting her? I know it's spoilerish, but I have no idea who to ask about when it comes down to this. *g* Thanks!!!

I can see Ryan playing with Sophie because she's next to him, and then the twins starting to cry and Ryan telling Kirsten not to worry, he'll get them settled down. So he moves to the second row and he's without his seatbelt and he's giving them a toy and they drop it, so he picks it up and they drop it again and when he's bending down to pick it up, Kirsten looks over her shoulder at him and Ryan smiles at her and the next thing he sees is white and red and black.

In the Pilot (yeah, yeah, YEAH), does Seth says: "Do you wanna play?" or "Do you want to play?"

I'm torn! I thought it was "wanna" but I read in a script that it was "want to" and now I've written all of my fics with "want to" (because that scene IS MAYOR FOR ME AND WILL ALWAYS BE), and even my icon has "want to" there and...

Nevermind. Whatever the answer, I'm sticking with "want to". *g*

I'm not sure how college goes in USA. Over here, you get two years of "General Studies", in which everyone who's majoring on a Science career (Engineering, Math, Chemistry, Physics) takes tons of maths and physics and a few more subjects. Those who aren't? Take very little subjects of math, and it's mostly weird subjects I'll never understand, like Cinema. *shrugs*

What would an English major take on his first year at college? *ponders*

I'm starting to get my very own facts confused.

Okay, so Shadow's Willow is supposed to be this teeny bitsy small town that's part of this a little bit bigger town, Willow (does that even make sense, I mean, so far so good?) which is part of Greer County. The last two facts are actually real, both Willow and Greer County exist. Shadow's Willow I made up.

Now, considering how small Willow itself is, and Shadow's Willow is supposed to be even smaller than it. Hmm. I see that Willow has a school and maybe a small clinic with a doctor and a nurse, but that's about it. So, would Shadow's Willow have a Sherriff's, or Willow itself? And, does it make sense that if Shadow's Willow is so small, it has a mechanic? Hmm. *ponders* I'm keeping SW, that's for sure, I just need to get a few facts straight. I'm thinking SW is about half an hour from Willow, though two and a half hours from Oklahoma City.

This past week has totally sucked. I've had three papers to give in and a test on Friday to top it off, which means that now I'm a little bit behind. I can totally make up for it today, though. I plan to, at least.

Quick question, though. I was considering Ryan being asked about tutoring a few of the local kids, from ten to twelve, in math and stuff. Because it's the school year and the kids that went off to college aren't home, I thought Ryan would be a safe bet, but right now I'm starting to doubt it. Taking in consideration that Ryan only got as far as sophomore year of high school, and the people in town don't know that, would they assume he finished high school? And would that be enough to tutor math and geometry? Would Ryan even remember?

*ponders*

Very quick, child related question. Do kids (six years old) have "snacks" in mid afternoon, in between lunch and dinner? Over here it's called "tea time" but I'm not sure if it's custom in US. I was thinking maybe Sophie would have a handful of dry cereal, and I think that'd be very Ryan. Oh, and I mean, a snack at home, not at school. *g*

Apparently, my muses like the challenge of having an idea but not being sure where it's going to go. Really. Having an idea in my mind, from where it starts to how it moves to where it ends, is not something that appeals to them. It doesn't appeal to them in a way that I can barely write this story, damn it. *grumbles*

I've been trying for about a week and every sentence, every paragraph is like pulling teeth, I swear. *grumbles*

Also, apparently, I love Sophie. I love her so. I love her in the way that it allows me to write a Ryan I hadn't been able to write before, at least I couldn't, not without this whole thing of an explanation. But Sophie? Being the little sister Ryan never had? Dude. I LOVE IT.

Okay, because my memory sucks, I need to ask this question. What grade are 6 year olds in? Over here, it's First Grade. Also, what do they teach in First Grade? I'm thinking simple math, like addition and subtraction? Or number? And do they read? What do they read?

Okay, I need to ask you all a question. Do you know of any program that converts mp3 files? My mp3 player has a lame 1GB limit and I want to cram even more files in it than it already has. So. I need a program that convert the mp3, lowers the resolution, it's good (meaning, I can actually hear the music), is downloaded and all that? Anyone? Please?
